RSS FeedsACT Fibernet has entered into a partnership with the Greater Chennai Corporation to rollout free Wi-Fi zones in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for revival of BSNL and MTNL by administrative allotment of spectrum for 4G services, debt restructuring by raising of bonds with sovereign guarantee, reducing employee costs, and monetisation of assets. It has also given an in-principle approval to the merger of BSNL and MTNL.
Vodafone Idea has announced the launch of TurboNet 4G in Karnataka where it has successfully integrated the erstwhile Vodafone and Idea networks.
Jio has announced the commercial commencement of JioFiber, its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service, across 1,600 cities in India. The broadband service will offer speeds starting from 100 Mbps and all the way up to 1 Gbps.
