Vodafone Essar has announced the roll-out of its 3G services in Tanjore.

The company’s 3G service was first introduced in Chennai and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Currently, it is available in 22 towns in Tamil Nadu including Tanjore.

The operator has introduced a new plan for prepaid users as well. Prepaid customers with HSPA handsets can recharge with a Rs 102 voucher to avail of 200 MB of 3G data, for one month. Post-paid customers can SMS ACT MI100 to 111 to avail of the same offer. This offer is valid until March 31, 2012.
