Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) plans to lay off 450 employees in Finland as part of its restructuring exercise. The job cuts, which will mainly affect its support functions, will be in the form of voluntary redundancies. NSN had earlier stated that it would cut 7 to 9 per cent of its global workforce to improve profitability. The company currently has around 64,000 employees worldwide, with 7,500 in Finland.
