ZTE has been awarded a $58 million network expansion contract by Libya-based mobile network operator Libyana. The deal will enable Libyana to expand its existing network from 1 million lines to 6.5 million lines. ZTE had earlier signed a deal with Libya Telecom and Technology to build a Wi-Max network covering eight major cities of Libya.
