R.M Agarwal takes additional charge as ITI Limited’s CMD, following K. Alagesan’s retirement
Pursuant to the order of Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, Rakesh Mohan Agarwal, director-marketing, ITI Limited has taken additional charge as chairman and managing director (CMD) of the company. The appointment will come into effect from October 1, 2019.
This follows the retirement of K. Alagesan, who was serving as the director-production with additional charge of CMD at ITI Limited.
Agarwal had joined the board of directors of the company on June 08, 2016 as government nominee director. He was soon appointed as director-marketing, ITI Limited and assumed charge on April 27, 2018. He has over 28 years of experience in the field of policy formulation, standardisation planning, operation and maintenance of telecom services.
Agarwal holds a bachelors degree in electronics engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakpur, and a master’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from University of Roorkee and a master’s in business administration from Indira Gandhi Open University.
