Amazon India head Amit Agarwal appointed IAMAI chairman

Amazon India’s senior vice-president and country head, Amit Agarwal has been appointed as the new chairman of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI).

He will succeed former Google vice president for India and Southeast Asia, Rajan Anandan.

Further, Yatra co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO), Dhruv Shringi has been named as the new vice-chairman of IAMAI, succeeding Deep Kalra, founder and Group CEO, MakeMyTrip.

The tenure of the new council will be two years.
