Vodafone Idea reports gross revenue of Rs 117.75 billion during the QE March 2019
Vodafone Idea Limited has reported its financial results for the quarter ended (QE) March 2019. As per the reported results, the operator’s gross revenue stood at Rs 117.75 billion during the quarter.
Further, its net loss stood at Rs 48.82 billion during the QE March 2019, decreasing marginally from Rs 50.05 billion reported during the QE December 2018. The operator’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 17.85 billion while its EBITDA margin stood at 15.2 per cent during the QE March 2019.
Meanwhile, the operator’s blended average revenue per user (ARPU) increased by 16.3 per cent from Rs 89 during the QE December 2018 to Rs 104 during the QE March 2019.
According to the operator, since the merger of Vodafone India with Idea Cellular was completed on August 31, 2018, the figures reported for the four quarters of the financial year 2018-19 are not comparable to earlier periods.
