According to a recent study by Frost & Sullivan, 69 per cent Indian and 63 per cent Australian organisations are most at risk of cyber attack. Further, 35 per cent of organisations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region suffered at least one cyber security incident in the last 12 months.

Moreover, around 83 per cent of organisations in the region do not think about cyber security while embarking on digital transformation projects.

The report also highlighted that although 72 per cent of organisations conduct regular breach assessment to protect themselves against cyber attacks, 55 per cent of them still continue to be at risk.

The study revealed that there is a big push for digitisation among APAC organisations. Of all the organisations surveyed, 95 per cent have already embarked on a digital transformation journey, adopting technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence/machine learning.

However, 65 per cent of respondents acknowledged that execution of their digital projects was hampered by increasing cyber attacks.
