The Switzerland based network cabling giant Reichle & De-Massari, better known as R&M, who has been present in India for the past 15 years have now roped in New Delhi based Radiant Info Solution to drive their Structured Cabling System (SCS) business as their North India Territory Distributor.

Commenting on the development, R. Murugesan, Senior Director Sales (Private Network) R&M India, said, “We are pleased to appointment Radiant Info as our regional distributor for North India for Enterprise Network Cabling Business. With Radiant, our distribution network has become stronger, we are confident their expertise reach will help us serve more customers & grow our business multifold.”

In a bid to make a deeper penetration and to further R&M’s footprint particularly in Structured Cabling Systems Channel business, this move was made based on Radiant’s capabilities for driving channel markets as a value added IT network provider with strong support presence.

Meanwhile, Nishant Gupta, managing director, Radiant, said, “Our track record shows our apt in marketing & positioning products of global brands in the domestic markets. Our company has an excellent team of technocrats who offer technical support to customers in no time.”

While in 2003-04 the market value of this segment was estimated at around Rs 5 billion, it is now poised for a quantum jump of Rs 35 billion. In view of this emerging volume global players have started with customised products.

According to Gupta, on a very conservative note, the SCS segment is expected to witness a major boom in the domestic market in view of its vertical as well as horizontal growth. He said though this system entered the Indian market at the beginning of 90's but primarily was confined to corporate, BPO and KPO sectors and now it is entering in the residential, hotels, skyscraper buildings and more. These cables are fast becoming a need of regular life for its ideal characteristic for data transfer, voice calling and image transfer with total security.

Gupta said that they were been given the allowance to drive R&M products through Jammu & Kashmir to Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and the entire North Eastern region and are optimists that with R&M’s presence in the same market for long, it would enable them to penetrate in the tier two, three and four cities in view of their strong technical support system available. They are expecting to do business worth Rs 200 million over next few months.

“R&M have further organised an intensive training program with Radiant for the North Indian System Integrators at the Capital on May 17,2019. At the culmination of the course participants will go through an exam to enable them to qualify carrying out SCS enabled projects and receive a certificate of recognition thereof," Gupta added.
