Jio GigaFiber services being rolled out across 1,600 cities
Reliance Jio has announced that Jio GigaFiber services for home broadband, entertainment, smart home solutions, wireline and enterprise is being rolled out across 1,600 cities.
The company is currently optimising its go-to-market strategy with successful test results from beta trials across the country. Earlier, Reliance Industries Limited had acquired majority stake in Den Networks Limited and Hathway Cable and Datacom Limited. According to Jio, the open offer process has been completed during the quarter ended March 2019.
In addition, Reliance Jio has also announced that it is committed to achieve 99 per cent coverage via its all-IP 4G long-term evolution (LTE) network. Its voice over LTE (VoLTE) network witnessed 95 per cent year-on-year growth in daily voice traffic and a low call drop rate of 0.1 per cent.
