Faisal Siddiqui steps down as HTC’s South Asia President

Faisal Siddiqui, South Asia head of HTC, has resigned after having spent 7 years with the company.

Siddiqui was appointed as India head of HTC in 2011 and was promoted to the position of South Asia President in February 2015.

During his tenure at HTC, Siddiqui looked after the South Asia region of the firm which included - India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Prior to joining HTC, Siddiqui was the Country Head of Motorola Mobile Devices in India. Before coming to Motorola he had held leadership positions with various telecom companies in India and in US, including Airtel, Sprint, Nextel and AT&T.
