Motorola launches 51 retail stores across Punjab to boost retail presence
Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched 51 new Moto Hubs across the state of Punjab in cities including Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala and Ludhiana.
Earlier, Motorola announced its plan to establish up to 1,000 'Moto Hubs' across 100 cities across the country. With this move, Motorola aims to strengthen its retail presence in India. According to Motorola, the next level of growth will come from offline channels and Moto hubs could push revenue from offline channels to 50 per cent of total sales over a period of time. However, no timeline has been outlined by the company regarding its plan to boost its retail network.
Moto Hubs will house handsets, along with Motorola accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones, Moto shells and covers. Moto Hubs provide access to Motorola's online exclusive devices like Moto e4 plus and Moto g5 plus along with Moto X2 and Moto Z4 smartphones.
