itel Mobile India CEO Sudhir Kumar resigns from the company

Sudhir Kumar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of itel Mobile’s Indian operations has resigned from the position.

Kumar has over 18 years of industry experience and has been instrumental in transforming the IT and telecom businesses across various organisations. He had joined itel India as CEO in January, 2016. Earlier, Kumar has worked with Intex Technologies for more than 15 years and was involved in identifying new channel partnerships and strengthening the distribution network of the company. Prior to that, he worked as a project manager with Ramtek Corporation Limited.

Itel was launched by its parent company China-based Transsion Holdings and forayed into the Indian market in April 2016. The company has 13 smartphones and 19 feature phones in its product portfolio. The company also has more than 900 service touch points. Recently, the company launched its latest 4G smartphone itel A40 for Rs 3,099 in association with Bharti Airtel.
