Ravi Krishnaswamy joins InMobi as CTO

InMobi has appointed Ravi Krishnaswamy, former senior vice-president of engineering at Flipkart, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the company. He replaces Mohit Saxena, Inmobi co-founder who recently moved to the US but continues his engagement with the company.

It is learnt that Krishnaswamy was responsible for leading the infrastructure and platforms group at Flipkart and also headed the ecommerce provider's logistics wing.

Krishnaswamy is expected to lead InMobi’s technology strategy and innovation agenda supporting the organisation's technology vision in big-data and artificial intelligence. His key mandate is likely to include evaluating the biggest technical opportunities and risks and help nurture a culture of innovation.

Krishnaswamy brings in more than 20 years of enterprise and internet domain experience as a strategic technology leader, focused on developing large scale infrastructure and platforms at global organisations like Microsoft.
