Bharti Infratel reports a 12 per cent decline in profits during quarter ended June 2017

Bharti Infratel has reported a 12 per cent decline in its profits, which decreased from Rs 7.56 billion during the quarter ended June 2016 to Rs 6.63 billion during the quarter ended June 2017.
However, the company’s total income increased by 9.46 per cent from Rs 14.68 billion to Rs 16.07 billion during the period. In addition, the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation increased from Rs 14.08 billion to Rs 15.75 billion.
Meanwhile, the total number of towers operated by the company increased from 89,352 during the quarter ended June 2016 to 90,837 during the quarter ended June 2017.
