Motorola launches the Moto Z2 Play smartphone in the Indian market at Rs 27,999

Motorola has launched the Moto Z2 Play smartphone in the Indian market at a price of Rs 27,999.

The smartphone features a 5.5 inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes with an internal memory of 64 GB which is further expandable up to 2 TB. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and is equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery. The device has a rear camera with 12-megapixel dual pixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, and dual LED flash, capable of recording 4K videos. The handset also has an eight megapixel front-facing camera which also comes with dual tone LED flash, capable of recording 1080p videos.

For connectivity, the device offers 4G Voice over Long Term Evolution, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n (2.4GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C (3.1), a 3.5mm headphone jack, Near Field Communication, FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS.
