Videocon Telecom has stated that its net loss has reduced from Rs 444 million for the quarter ended December 2014 to Rs 259 million for the quarter ended December 2015. This decline was on account of strong growth witnessed in data revenues and subscriber additions across key markets.

The company has also reported a 22 per cent rise in consolidated revenue to Rs 5.85 billion for the quarter ended December 2015. It has also reported a 20 per cent growth in net revenue of its standalone GSM business, propelled by a 28 per cent increase in subscriber base, a 16.5 per cent improvement in its net rate per minute and 76 per cent growth in data revenues over the year-ago period.

The company has further stated that in the period between January 2015 and December 2015, it has added 0.51 million, 0.3 million and 0.9 million subscribers in Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh circles respectively.
