HFCL reports 66.7 per cent increase in its standalone net profits for quarter ended December 2015

Telecom equipment manufacturer, Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) has reported a 66.7 per cent increase in its standalone net profits from Rs 420.7 million for the quarter ended December 2014 to Rs 701.6 million for the quarter ended December 2015. Meanwhile, the company’s total income from operations witnessed a marginal decline from Rs 6 billion to Rs 5.92 billion, during the same period.

HFCL also reported a marginal decline in its total expenses from Rs 5.49 billion for the quarter ended December 2014 to Rs 5.14 billion for the quarter ended December 2015. This combined with the strong demand for optical fibre cables and other telecom equipment had contributed to the growth in net profits. According to the company, it holds an order-book of around Rs 28 billion.
