MTNL declares 12.47 per cent reduction in net losses for the quarter ended September 2015

State-run telecom operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has reported a 12.47 per cent decline in net losses, which fell from Rs 8.34 billion during quarter ended September 2014 to Rs 7.30 billion during the corresponding quarter in 2015. The operator’s net revenue fell from Rs 8.50 billion to Rs7.87 billion during the same period, a fall of 7.46 per cent.

Meanwhile, during the July-September 2015 quarter the company shut down its CDMA business in Delhi after it surrendered a part of its CDMA spectrum holding to the government.
