Cisco and Google ink a strategic pact
February 05, 2014
Cisco and Google have entered into a long-term patent cross-licensing agreement which covers a broad range of products and technologies.
The agreement paves way for both the companies to leverage significant value from their respective patent portfolios through a license to each other’s products. The agreement between the two organisations is a move towards reducing the risk of future litigation.
Both Cisco and Google are members of the Coalition for Patent Fairness, a leading advocacy group for patent reform.
