E-mail Print PDF

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) and Bosnia and Herzegovina-based operator BH Telecom have inked a strategic tie-up as part of which NSN will help the operator rollout its 3G network.

NSN will provide BH Telecom with HSPA+ radio access network to enable the operator to offer 3G services across the northern and eastern parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The rollout will include telecom equipment deployment on the 2100 MHz and 900 MHz bands for greater coverage, as well as dual cell HSPA+ enabling high-speed mobile broadband services like video downloads and internet browsing with data speeds up to 30 Mbps. As part of the agreement, NSN will also upgrade the multi-vendor network management system NetAct for the operator for efficient monitoring of its network.
