Tulip to provide end to end connectivity to ELCOT

Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCOT) has awarded a contract to Tulip Telecom for providing end to end connectivity for Elcot’s horizontal offices across Tamil Nadu.

The contract is worth Rs 740 million.

As a of the two-year contract, Tulip Telecom will provide network infrastructure to connect 2,000 government offices as part of the e-governance initiative in Tamil Nadu. The company will be responsible for extending uninterrupted data, voice, internet, video conferencing and video streaming services to all these offices.

Commenting on winning the contract, Rajesh Duggal, president government business, Tulip Telecom, says, “It has been our constant endeavor to contribute towards strengthening the network infrastructure and a holistic growth of information, communication and technology in our nation. Such large projects are an indication of government’s faith in our abilities and act as an enabler in realising our vision of becoming the largest data services provider globally.”
